Frequently Asked Questions at Boxtick Graphics

1. What file formats do you accept for printing?

We accepts the following formats; AI, EPS, PDF, JPEG, PNG. Artwork or logos in a vector file is preferred. Once we receive your artwork we will let you know if we think the quality is too low for printing.

2. What is a vector file?

A vector file is a scalable and editable image. This means we can make the logo or artwork as at our largest width of 1.5M or as small as a 5p coin it will still retain its detail.

3. How much is delivery?

Delivery is free for orders over £100; this is only for orders up to 30kg in weight. If the order exceeds this weight then the customer will be notified at the enquiry stage. Delivery is £8 + VAT for orders under £100, the same weight restrictions apply. Deliveries are sent next working day (excluding Bank Holidays & Fridays) via DPD with a tracking number. Deliveries sent out on Friday should arrive on the following Monday.

4. Is there free parking at your premises?

Yes, we have free parking in our warehouse car park, which has CCTV covering this area.

5. How long does it take to complete the fitting of vehicle graphics?

On average a standard sized van would take around 1.5 hours, this does vary depending on the amount of vinyl being applied and the size of the vehicle.

6. Do you do custom sizes?

Yes! We love to do custom jobs. We can do custom sizes on printed paper, printed vinyl, printed stickers, printed and single colour textile transfers and more. Please get in touch if you have this question related to a specific product.

7.What machines do you use?

We have wide format Epson printers; these can print up to 1.5M wide. We have a 1.5M wide laminator to match up with the printers. Then we have a wide format plotter which we use to cut out your bespoke shapes and you guessed it, this goes up to 1.5M wide too!

8. What ways do you accept payments?

We accept cash on collection, BACS, or credit or debit card. We can take payment over the phone using our online payment system or we can you send you a payment link via email.

9. Are you open at weekends?

We aren’t open at weekends; we are open Monday – Friday 9:00am – 17:00 (Excluding Bank Holidays). Exceptions can be made depending on the circumstance. Please get in touch if you are unable to visit us during normal working hours.

10. How long does it take to design a logo?

This depends on the complexity of the design. However once all of the information from yourself has been collect we could get a first draft over to with 2 working days. This all depends on how busy we are. We ask you a series of questions to determine what you would like and what you wouldn’t like in your logo.
